Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Mergers & Acquisitions Center of Excellence (M&A COE) and support the Global Business Services Center Legal, Franchise & Integrity (GBSC LFI) function. This role will manage assigned projects across the end-to-end integration lifecycle, coordinate cross-functional delivery, provide clear reporting to project and functional leadership, and represent GBSC LFI as part of the legal workstream. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and collaborative project manager who can bring structure, visibility, and discipline follow-through to complex integration activities.
Role
• Manage assigned projects from initiation through transition and closeout, developing clear scope, workplans, milestones, deliverables, and success measures.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution across legal, business, technology, finance, operations, and other integration workstreams to keep activities aligned and on schedule.
• Represent GBSC LFI within the legal workstream, ensuring that its capabilities, requirements, dependencies, and delivery commitments are incorporated into integration plans and decisions.
• Champion the adoption of AI and automation to streamline project management processes, improve efficiency, and enhance delivery.
• Maintain project plans, action logs, decision logs, risk and issue registers, dependency tracking, and supporting project documentation.
• Gather, validate, and consolidate updates from cross-functional owners; prepare concise status reporting for project leadership, functional leaders, governance forums, and steering committees.
• Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, confirm ownership and timing, and follow through to closure.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, resource constraints, and cross-workstream dependencies, with clear impact assessments and recommended next steps.
• Support leadership with materials that translate detailed project activity into clear progress, decisions required, delivery risks, and upcoming milestones.
• Promote consistent M&A COE project-management standards, templates, governance routines, and lessons learned across integrations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve reporting, and enhance collaboration across the legal workstream.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:
• Experience supporting or managing projects in a cross-functional, matrixed environment; exposure to M&A, integration, legal operations, shared services, or transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Working knowledge of core project-management practices, including planning, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, dependency management, governance, and status reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, owners, and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise, leadership-ready updates and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships, influence without formal authority, and follow up constructively to drive accountability.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify delivery risks, organize ambiguous information, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams; experience with project-management platforms such as Monday.com is preferred.
• A proactive, service-oriented mindset and willingness to learn M&A integration, legal workstream, and GBSC LFI processes.
• Experience supporting the delivery of automation initiatives using platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate is preferred.
